Love this diaper cream! It's the only one we will use once we go through all the creams we were given as shower gifts. Goes on great and does wonders for our little girls' bottoms. It doesn't leave a mess on your hands either. The 3-ounce tube is easy to open and squeeze with one hand while holding baby with the other.

I am a first time mom and when my newborn daughter had an awful, red rash on her bottom I freaked. I had tried all the other creams to no avail. My sister recommended this to me and it worked. Within hours after applying the creamy white stuff to her bottom it was already clearing up. By later that afternoon the entire red rash was gone. I was so relieved.

I applied it at each diaper change. I could see that is stayed on well too, not like the other brands where you cannot even see the ointment, it seems to disappear into the diaper. It is thicker and pastier than the creamy ones you use. It was very easy to apply and created a protective moisture barrier between her bottom and the diaper, even overnight! It does not have a pretty odor but it works and that is what counts.

This product claims to contain active zinc oxide and prevents many forms of skin irritation as well as treating diaper rash, redness of the skin or buttocks, or minor scrapes. It is recommended by many pediatricians’ physicians and pharmacists, easy to apply and time tested. It comes in 2-oz jars and it lasts a long time, my child is now 12 months and I still have half a jar. If you cannot find it in your store, ask the pharmacist, sometimes they keep it behind the counter.

My daycare provider is amazed by this cream, that is all she uses now. Honestly, this is the best cream you can buy. It works within hours. I thought all these creams were the same but they are not. I will never use another tube of any other brand again.

Buy it, you'll love it. It works better than anything else I've tried. It works fast on severe, bleeding rashes!

My 12 month old daughter has had frequent and persistant diaper rashes her entire life. I have probably gone through 12 tubes of Desitin in the last 12 months (my son only went through 1 tube his whole first year). This last rash was particularly severe.

Less than 24 hours ago she was so raw that she was bleeding in several places. I have tried everything with this rash! Nothing was working and her poor little butt was so bad, I was fighting an up-hill battle and losing. She would start to get better, and then as soon as she pooped it was back to square one - or worse.

I read about Dr. Smith's here on epinions.com and since I was desperate and about to go insane, I loaded my 2 toddlers in the car and took them to walgreens (you know I was desperate if I took 2 toddlers to the store unassisted, lol). Well I got 2 tubs of the stuff, got back home and put some on my baby's bottom. I changed her diaper about 20 min later and there was already a HUGE HUGE difference! I was in shock! She wasnt bleeding, didnt look nearly as bad. So I rinsed her with water, put more on (now I realize it was more than I needed to use) with every diaper change from then til now.

I am a Registered Nurse, and a mother of 4. Dr. Smith's makes both roles easier. This paste works miracles on bottoms of all sizes. I have been using 'docto mitts' (courtesy of my daughter)for 9 years. My first-born had a staph infection on her buttocks as an infant and diaper changes were excruciating - until a pharmacist in San Antonio recommended using Dr. Smith's along with the antibiotic cream at every diaper change. I've used this miracle cream ever since. It works great when kids get constipated and get little tears from hard stools, it works when they've forgotten to wipe effectively and they get a little sore. It worked for me personally after the birth of my daughter and I was suffering from the stitches. It works on my patients who experience rashes. I've used it for burns, sunburns, scrapes, cracked nipples, and all sorts of rashes. The ointment does not have any pain-killers in it, but it's very calming to the skin and other delicate tissues, it even works great for newly circumcised little boys. I recommend Dr. Smith's for everyone!
